Sunday 5th November - Rendlesham's first ever Fireworks Display.
Gates open 15:00hrs. Display 18:30hrs.
Wrap up warm and come and enjoy a family friendly event with our fabulous Funfair and Fireworks.
Food will be provided by Rendlesham firm favourite The Wandering Grill. Rendlesham Scouts will be providing tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a selection of sweet treats. All at reasonable prices. We will be closing the event with a BANG as Kimbolton Fireworks provide a spectacular fireworks display at 6.30pm.
Free Admission (donations welcome). Free parking. N.B. Drop off and disabled parking only at Jubilee Park. Other sign-posted car parking available nearby.
Our Friends of Rendlesham School will be providing glow sticks as we ask that sparklers are not brought to the display.
NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURES AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT AT WOODS LANE, MELTON
As part of the construction of the new Bloor Homes development, Longwood Fields, it will be necessary for Woods Lane, Melton to be closed from the 6th to the 30th November from the A12 roundabout to the junction of Hall Farm Road. The road will re-open on the 1st December until the 8th of January and is scheduled to close again on the 8th of January 2018 until 13th April 2018.

Development off Redwald Road, Rendlesham
The Parish Council have been contacted by the Pegasus Group regarding a proposed development for 300 homes on land off Redwald Road. Whilst this is not a formal consultation, as no planning application has been submitted, the Parish Council has drafted their initial position on the proposals.
